Trilateral Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus-Greece-Israel to be held in Nicosia on 31 March 2023

A Trilateral Ministerial Meeting of Cyprus–Greece-Israel will take place tomorrow in Nicosia between the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Constantinos Kombos, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece Mr Nikos Dendias and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel Mr Eli Cohen.

The meeting will take place at the Presidential Palace, with the participation of delegations from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the three countries. Prior to the meeting, Mr Dendias and Mr Cohen, accompanied by Dr Kombos, will be received by the President of the Republic, Mr Nikos Christodoulides.

This is the 3rd political dialogue meeting at the level of Ministers of Foreign Affairs which is held between the three countries, with the Cyprus-Greece-Israel Trilateral Cooperation Mechanism being the most advanced of all the trilateral mechanisms. With significant progress already having been achieved in establishing the cooperation framework between the three countries in numerous areas, the focus is now on defining the next steps with the aim of further strengthening and deepening the cooperation, as well as expanding synergies in the region.

The three Ministers will make statements to the press at the end of the consultations, at 12:20 pm.

On the occasion of the Ministers’ presence in Nicosia, Dr Kombos will hold separate bilateral meetings with both the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel.
