Ambassador Yiannis Michaelides presented his Letters of Credence to the King of Bahrain
The new Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the Kingdom of Bahrain with residence in Abu Dhabi, Mr. Yiannis Michaelides, presented his Letters of Credence on May 31, 2022, to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at Al Sakhir Palace, in a joint ceremony with other new Ambassadors.
During the private audience that followed, the Ambassador conveyed to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa the high appreciation of the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Nikos Anastasiades, as well as his belief that the already excellent relations between the Republic of Cyprus and the Kingdom of Bahrain will be further strengthened for the mutual benefit of the two friendly countries and their peoples.
The Monarch of Bahrain reciprocated with the warmest greetings and wishes to the President of the Republic of Cyprus, expressing his appreciation to Mr. Nikos Anastasiades and the close friendly ties between them.
Addressing the ceremony of presentation of Letters of Credence, King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa expressed his belief in cooperation and enhanced communication between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the countries of the new Ambassadors, saying he was proud of their respective bilateral relations with Bahrain. The Bahraini monarch has said he is open to any suggestions and ideas that will help strengthen bilateral relations.
