Announcement concerning the issuance of Travel Advice to Cypriot citizens for Ukraine
In light of the latest developments in relation to the tense situation prevailing in the broader region around Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has today issued relevant Travel Advice which has been posted on the Ministry's website, advising Cypriot citizens to avoid travel to Ukraine over the coming period.
In addition, citizens of the Republic of Cyprus permanently and/or temporarily residing anywhere in Ukraine are encouraged to declare their presence in the country as well as their contact details by registering on the online platform Connect2CY and/or by contacting the Embassy of Cyprus in Kiev.
Cypriot citizens are further advised to stand ready to readjust their trip at short notice, due to the possibility of further escalation in the region. If their presence in Ukraine is not necessary, Cypriot citizens are advised to leave the country.
