Press Release regarding the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the first quadrilateral Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus, Greece, Egypt and France that takes place tomorrow in Athens

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Christodoulides, will travel to Athens tomorrow (19/11) morning, to participate in the first quadrilateral Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus, Greece, Egypt and France, together with his counterparts, Nikos Dendias, Sameh Shoukry and Jean-Yves Le Drian, respectively.

During the Meeting, talks are expected to focus on regional developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and the broader Middle East, the situation in Libya and the Sahel region, the Cyprus problem, as well as EU-Egypt relations. Views will also be exchanged with a view to further enhancing cooperation between the four countries in fileds such as energy, migration, containment of the pandemic and climate change.

After the end of their consultations, the participating Ministers will deliver statements to representatives of the media (foreseen for 15.30).
