Press release on the event that will take place this afternoon with the participation of foreign Ambassadors in the context of the promotion of Economic Diplomacy and Innovation
In the framework of the promotion of Economic Diplomacy and Innovation the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy are jointly organizing an event that will take place this afternoon, at the ‘Atsas’ Training Center in Katydata, with the participation of the Heads of Foreign Diplomatic Missions in Cyprus.
During the event, which will be addressed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Nikos Christodoulides and the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy Mr. Kyriakos Kokkinos, the foreign Ambassadors will be briefed on the actions planned and promoted within the framework of Economic Diplomacy with the aim inter alia of supporting innovation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy.
The event is organized in collaboration with the non-profit initiative "Cyprus Seeds" which supports the commercialization of academic research of Cyprus Universities and research institutes, by providing sponsorships, guidance, training and networking abroad. In this context, “Cyprus Seeds” scientific teams will present their work in the fields of health and biomedicine, solar energy and water, information technology, and cultural heritage and the arts.
