On 9 May, Europe Day is celebrated across all Member States of the European Union, including Cyprus. It's a celebration of peace and unity, commemorating the historical Declaration by former French Foreign Minister Robert Schuman on this very day in 1950, that laid the foundations for the economic and political community we know today as the European Union.
To mark Europe Day, which this year happens to coincides also with the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the European Union External Action Service, we are pleased to share with you a special video message by the Foreign Ministers of the 27 Member States.
