Press release regarding the visit to Cyprus of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Mr. Nikos Dendias

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. Nikos Dendias, will pay a working visit to Cyprus tomorrow, Thursday.

Foreign Minister Mr. Ioannis Kasoulides, will welcome the Greek Foreign Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where they will have a tête-a-tête meeting, while further consultations will follow with the participation of delegations from the two Ministries. Upon conclusion of the consultations, the two Ministers will make statements to the representatives of the mass media (at 13:40).

Discussions are expected to focus, among other, on bilateral relations and the framework for further deepening cooperation on national, regional and international issues, the Cyprus problem and the way in which our side perceives the next steps, the intensifying Turkish provocations, the consequences of Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the EU's coordinated response, multilateral cooperation formations in the Eastern Mediterranean region and the wider Middle East as well as other regional issues of common interest.

During his presence in Cyprus, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. Nikos Dendias, will address the annual Conference of the Heads of Diplomatic Missions of the Republic of Cyprus.
