Foreign Ministry Announcement concerning the situation in Ukraine
Due to the possible escalation of tension in the region, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends that citizens of the Republic of Cyprus avoid unnecessary travel to areas of eastern and northern Ukraine.
Citizens of the Republic of Cyprus permanently residing and/or temporarily located anywhere in Ukraine are encouraged to register on the online platform Connect2CY and/or to contact the Consular Section of the Cyprus Embassy in Ukraine to register their contact details.
They are also urged to follow local and international media for all the latest developments and to be alert in case of need to modify their plans of travel.
