In light of the continuing spread of the coronavirus Covid-19, which has been classified by the World Health Organization as a pandemic, and in view of new information emerging with regard to the detection of a new strain of SARS-COV-2 virus in the United Kingdom, we have today issued a new Travel Advise, valid until 5 January 2021, advising Cypriot citizens to avoid travelling to the UK unless it absolutely necessary.
