Press Release regarding the departure of the Minister of Foreign Affairs to Brussels for participation in the EU Foreign Affairs Council

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, travels to Brussels tomorrow, where on Monday morning he will participate in the meeting of the Foreign Affairs Council of the European Union.

The post-election situation in Georgia, the legislative elections in Venezuela, the developments regarding Turkey and the European Union's relations with Ankara, as well as Human Rights, are expected to be addressed under the discussion of current affairs during the meeting. According to the agenda, the Foreign Ministers of the EU Member States will further have the opportunity to exchange views on Transatlantic Relations, as well as on issues relating to the Strategic Autonomy of the European Union.

Mr. Christodoulides will depart from Brussels on Monday afternoon.
