Vacancy for one position of Consular Officer, Moscow

The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Moscow is accepting applications for one (1) vacant position of Consular Officer, on a local employment staff basis in the Diplomatic Mission in Moscow, with an initial contract of one year.

The starting salary for this position is 142,723.00 ₽ (pre-tax). Salary is reviewed annually based on EU salary grids for Moscow. Provision is made for mandatory medical insurance (OMS) under Russian law, as well as payment of 13th salary.

Job Responsibilities:

• Fulfillment of consular duties
• Control and compliance with the current Consular Regulations of the Republic of Cyprus
• Control and compliance with the current Consular regulations of the Russian Federation
• Promotion of cooperation with tourist and other organizations operating in the field of tourism in Cyprus.
• Interaction with other Embassy staff as directed by the Head of Diplomatic Mission.
• Other duties related to the position.

Requirements:

• Diploma in higher education
• Honesty, responsibility, initiative and discretion
• Good command of oral/written Russian, English and Greek languages
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Office suite of programs

The following will be considered as an advantage:

• At least 2 years' experience in the consular field.
• Experience in Ministry/Diplomatic Mission/Public Sector will be a distinct advantage.
