The Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Moscow is accepting applications for the position of one (1) Accountant, under locally employed staff terms and conditions, and with an initial employment period of one year.
The starting salary for the position is ₽142,723.00 (gross). The salary is subject to annual review based on the EU salary scales for Moscow. A medical coverage is provided in accordance with the Russian legislation, as well as a 13th salary.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Making payments (for existing expenses, wages, taxes, social insurance contributions, settlement of car and travel allowances, etc.), preparation of bank account documents and money transfers.- Placement of purchase orders- Bank accounts monitoring- Maintaining cash registers- Completion of accounting books/registries/employment books, etc.- Maintaining accounting records (income/expenses) and a register of strict reporting forms- Preparation of vouchers for the Diplomatic Mission- Budget (monitoring, preparation)- Translation of invoices, supporting documents and receipts- Preparation and submission of documents for VAT refunds to the tax office- Cooperation with other members of the Embassy, under the instructions of the Head of the Diplomatic Mission- Other duties related to the position
1. High school diploma (with major in Economics/ Accounting, or in another specialty related to the vacancy)2. Honesty, responsibility, initiative and discretion3. Clear criminal record issued by the competent authorities of the country4. Good command of spoken/written Russian and English 5. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Office software package6. Permanent residence and work status in the Russian Federation
The following qualifications will be considered an advantage:1. Master's degree diploma.2. Knowledge of Greek (oral/written)3. Experience in finance/accounting for at least 2 years
