Inaugural event for the #SheOnFriday discussion series
On Friday, June 18, at 12.00 noon, we launch the new series of discussions entitled #SheOnFriday in the Atrium of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the aim of sharing information, consulting and engaging in a dialogue with civil society on issues relating to gender mainstreaming in Cyprus foreign policy, and, more generally, of promoting gender equality and women's rights.
During this kickoff event, actions implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in this field during the last two years will be presented and a relevant discussion will ensue. The Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Nikos Christodoulides and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ms. Annita Dimitriou, will address the event.
The discussion will be moderated by the Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs on issues of gender mainstreaming in foreign policy, Ms. Josie Christodoulou.
