A team put together by the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and the Environment (MoARDE) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will participate on Saturday, 30 October 2021, in the campaign 'Let’s do it! Cyprus'. The initiative is organized by the General Secretariat of European Affairs in line with EU priorities to ensure a better quality of life, health and environment to our present and future generations.
Our team, comprising members of the staff from both Ministries, Heads of foreign Diplomatic Missions and Delegations of International Organizations accredited in Nicosia as well as members of their staff and their families, will clean up part of the Pedieos Linear Park in Strovolos between 10.00a.m. and 12.00 noon. The initiative is supported by the European Commission’s Representation in Cyprus and the Office of the European Parliament in Cyprus.
The team is participating under the auspices of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Nikos Christodoulides, and the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Mr. Costas Kadis, who will both be participating on the day.
'Let’s do it! Cyprus' is organized by the Network for Volunteers ‘Together Cyprus’, in collaboration with the Office of the Commissioner for the Environment and the Office of the Commissioner for Volunteerism & NGOs. It’s a part of ‘Let’s do it, World!’ a global clean-up campaign that aims to solve the waste crisis.
