The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs Cypriot citizens planning to travel to Lebanon or residing in the country permanently, that recently cases of cholera have been reported.

Therefore, Cypriot citizens planning to travel to Lebanon are urged to exercise caution especially when it comes to drinks and meals. Please follow the instructions of local authorities and closely follow local media.

Cypriot citizens in Lebanon may, if they wish to, register with the online platform www.connect2cy.gov.cy
